Tunisia represents a key market for IFFCO group. Throughout the years, IFFCO has ventured into the Tunisian market through major acquisitions, with the aim of improving its operation capabilities to cater to Tunisia as well as international markets. IFFCO group currently runs three operations in Tunisia.
Compagnie Generale Des Industries Alimentaires (Cogia Sa) is an olive oil manufacturing facility and one of Tunisia’s top exporters of packed extra virgin and organic olive oil, exporting to over 40 countries, across the Middle East, North America, Asia and Africa.
In 2017, IFFCO acquired SDA Zitouna, one of the world’s most advanced olive groves with a top-of-the-line technology processing mill, which ensures the rich, fruity flavours of the olives are preserved for premium extra virgin olive oil.
IFFCO owns L’Appetissante, a producer of various types of biscuits and cakes catering to Middle East and Africa. In addition, IFFCO has a well set-up sales and distribution network.
